Wilfork was gigantic in college, I think he's actually lost wait since then. As for Okoye, like Kurt said, he's got a lot bigger build than Robertson has, I believe that he's definitely above 300 lbs, and he does have the ability to grow a lot in the future and not lose much as far as athleticism goes.
Jamal Williams 305????????? jesus he has to be 375 maybe 400. I know he is listed around 350 plus tax. His height is probably 6 3 now Fergy is small I think he is 6 3 310 Jamal Williams is one of the biggest NT's in the game right now. Where do you get your info?
I think Pitcock thrives on penetration way too much, unless he really thinks he can take on a Luis Castillo role and get through every time. More of a 4-3 undertackle, IMO. People think that nosetackles need to be slobs, which is a common mistake. They need to be strong, and very compact. If the guys 6'0", yet 320, he's much more compact then a 6'6", 350 lbs. guy. He can then get under the center much easier and drive him back. La'Roi Glover was an effective nosetackle at 290 for Parcells. Neither Hampton nor Wilfork are quote on quote "slobs" at 320 and 325 respectively.
How do you know about his smarts, toughness and motor? What have you personally seen that would show you that? Or are you just saying that because he's a White guy? That seems to be the typical White Guy description that posters use, when they know nothing about a player. I can describe a player such as Jay Alford from Penn State-- DT in College, would be a 3-4 DE for us at 6'3" 280 LBS. He is fast for a lineman, gets in the backfield several times per game, and led PSU in sacks with 8.5 on the year. I have watched him play for 2 years now, and I have seen NOTHING on the field that would show me anything about how smart or tough he is, or how good a "motor" he may have. These Catch Phrases get thrown around far too much on here with nothing to back it up. You would have to be an analyst who watches months of film to be able to pick out a time in a game which a DT's smarts, or toughness gave him the edge over another DT-- to be able to distinguish where smarts, toughness, and motor made him make the play, not size, strength, or speed. If you, or anyone on here can show me an example of Pitcocks smarts, toughness and motor, and how he is superior to the forementioned Jay Alford for example, I will be very impressed. I am sure I will be bashed for this, with no real response to the question I am asking for, which is a real example of these traits in action on a college player you are talking about. Most posters opinions on here are just recycled, and people have no real clue as to why they give someone the descroption they do.
