I like it. If Smith was our full time 3rd receiver defenses would have to worry about so many things Shotty could make our offense very exciting.
Washington wouldn't be a viable receiver for Smith if he was also an option hand off. There's no way he can stand there for two seconds for Leon to get out there to get a pass. If he doesn't get the ball there, he should be told to block on any biting DB/free LB. Also, Coles' route should change to a slant. If he does a wheel and keeps running, he'll be pretty far down field, and not be a good choice for receiving.
