    No, there were some abusive parents at the earlier match so the two high schools decided to ban any spectators.

    One of the most physical World Cup Finals. Germans are well known for their physicality but Argentina is not bad at all in this tournament. Good few opportunities for both team.

    I hope this game doesn't go to penalties. I hate it when world cup finals go to penalties.

    Irony that Argentina lived by the sword (getting late goals all tournament) and died by the sword today having a late goal against them.

    It's a short tournament, a lot of guys win the golden ball that aren't on the champion. Forlan won it in 2010.

    Robben was good, but no not over Messi. Muller probably got hurt by the fact there were so many standouts on Germany including Neuer. Messi did score 'big' goals and was probably the only reason Argentina wasn't a one-and-done. I probably would have considered Rodriguez too but they've never given it to a player that didn't at least get to the final four of the WC and he didn't even finish in their top three astonishingly.
