There were just as many personnel and player changes last season including a new HC and new defense, and look how the locker room turned out.
TO on the sideline... "Mark, pass me the god damn ball!" Jenkins, Scott, Rex, Woody... in unison..."Shut your fucking mouth".
on ESPN first take today they have Skip Bayless(hates NY teams) and Scoop Jackson. They're debating which situation is better for TO. bengals or jets. The funniest part is at the end when scoop asks him 'who is a more dangerous combination, TO and ocho or TO and braylon' skip says the bengals receivers are much more dangerous then the jets. in this conversation they mentioned ocho, TO, shipley, bryant, and gresham and for the jets they mention cotchery and braylon as the only 2 receivers. they completely either forget holmes and also don't mention keller. the other funny part was when skip said mark sanchez can't do it without thomas jones. LOL...ESPN hires the dumbest people to do their shows.
It's Skip Bayless's job to piss you off. Don't give him the satisfaction. In fact, unless you're unemployed or a psych major, don't bother watching First Take.
I remember watching Skip years ago and he was arguing that Tiger Woods wouldnt go down in history as one of the best golfers ever. Everyone else there was speechless.
The Jets do not need Owens. If they sign him, I think the team would be the most entertaining team in the league (might already be) but I don't see how it helps for a Super Bowl run too much. Especially when the Jets are considered a RUN FIRST TEAM. How can you satisfy Owens, Holmes, Edwards and the only home grown Cotchery?
how anyone...especially on a fucking message board can comment or assume they know shit about the Jets locker room chemistry is beyond me.
Jets reach out to Owens' agent http://sports.espn.go.com/new-york/nfl/news/story?id=5412850 The New York Jets, who once traded for Brett Favre and signed LaDainian Tomlinson this offseason, now are exploring the idea of signing Terrell Owens, according to league sources. The Jets placed a call to Terrell Owens' agent. If they're lucky, the line was busy, ESPNNewYork.com's Rich Cimini writes. Story The Jets have contacted Owens' agent, Drew Rosenhaus, and have debated the idea of bringing the high-profile wide receiver to training camp. A deal between the Jets and Owens still is considered a long shot; one person estimated the Jets' chances at signing Owens at "20 percent." Ultimately, this is similar to the situation in which the Jets contacted quarterback JaMarcus Russell but never signed him. Still, the Jets are debating Owens' acquisition, as coach Rex Ryan wants any player who improves the team's chances of winning. Mike & Mike in the Morning ESPN NFL insider John Clayton says he doesn't think it's likely Terrell Owens ends up with the Jets. Plus, Clayton comments on Rams quarterback Sam Bradford and Eagles quarterbacks Kevin Kolb and Michael Vick. The Cincinnati Bengals remain the favorite to sign Owens. The Bengals are offering an incentive-laden contract, and they have told Owens, 36, he has until Wednesday to agree to a deal. Even so, now that the Jets have made contact with Owens, the receiver has options in the days ahead. If Owens does choose Cincinnati, he could be paired on the outside with Chad Ochocinco. Bengals coach Marvin Lewis has said recent acquisition Antonio Bryant could move into an inside slot position. 28yr old premadonna best receiver in the league was a cancer and a head case. 35yr old TO who has no idea where his next paycheck is coming from is not. One more dumb move or outburst and he'll never receive another cent from the NFL AGAIN!!! Not a peep out of BUffalo last year yet he is still a cancer. Dear Tanny, You want a ring, get this DONE! Jtrain P.S. Give this man the money he wants. WHo can stop him now that revis isn't guarding him. This guy is going to make Sanchez better.
Santonio has never been a locker room problem. His problems are at night when he's at a bar trashed. No one on the steelers complained about him.
He's going to the Bengals...Chad is probably pissed right now...should see his twitter start blowin up soon....
we can make assumptions based on what information we do get. when you have all the skill position guys flying out to cali to put in extra work that indicates that the locker room is strong. when you see those same guys all hanging out together enjoying themselves at the hr derby and the espy's it indicates a strong locker room. when in every interview the new guys are all saying they have never been part of a locker room like this it indicates a strong locker room. yes i do know that the new guys are only gonna say positive things but they don't need to go out of their way to say this is the best locker room atmosphere they have ever been in.
This makes NO sense at all. We have a good receiving corps. No need to add anyone else. We are a run-first team, right?
EXACTLY!!!!! He will NOT be running his mouth if he came here. The problem is like the Miami Heat will have ...to many stars wanting the ball, someone will end up pissed off by the end of it all if TO came. We have 3 division games in the first 4 weeks. We need to take care of business and if TO helps i am all for it.
