Dustin Keller is #81 by the way, but nice try in your avatar.

Keller wouldn't give his number up for a washed up locker room cancer.

i consider us loaded already with Castro, Cotch, and Cheech, not to mention Keller and with Clowney, Smith, Allison, and the million other potential 3rd and 4th recievers.

TO isnt as bad as hes made out to be but he does have VERY little paticence and thats the last thing Sanchez needs to be around.

I wouldnt like the move, if it was made it would simply prove Woody is holding a knife to Tanny's throat to win now resulting in a dramatic signing or something along those lines.

i do believe TO does have a couple good years left in him though even at his age. but yeah no thanks.

You answered your own question. The same reason JT & LT signed with the Jets.

TO is worth having as a decoy alone. If this team makes it to the SB, it will be well worth it for us to deal with TO and any other "strong personalities" as well as the players giving up their stats to get a ring on their finger.

    Seeing a thread titled

    "**OFFICIAL** Terrell Owens to th..."

in the Jets section of the forum nearly gave me a heart attack. Who could want this fading player on this team? I don't give a flying one if he wants to win a ring. Go and try somewhere else.

And did someone actually say that if we sign TO we wouldn't have to worry about facing him next season? Who the hell is worried?

    http://www.nfl.com/news/story/09000...e-only-one-exploratory-call-to-agent-about-to

The New York Jets' pursuit of free-agent wide receiver Terrell Owens never materialized, a team source told NFL Network insider Jason La Canfora on Tuesday.

The extent of the Jets' interest in Owens, a six-time Pro Bowl selection, was a single, mundane call to his agent, Drew Rosenhaus. Nothing progressed from there, and the Jets aren't actively pursuing Owens, according to a team official.

"Our interest was just to throw out a call to the agent -- that's all," the official said.

Several news outlets reported earlier Tuesday that the Jets had reached out to Owens, who also has drawn interest from the St. Louis Rams and Cincinnati Bengals in recent days. The Cincinnati Enquirer reported Monday that the Bengals have made Owens a contract offer, and a team source told La Canfora that the Rams decided against doing the same.

The New York Daily News called the Jets' interest in Owens "exploratory". The New York Post was more emphatic, reporting the Jets "are not going to sign the controversial free agent diva receiver."

Owens has been spending some of his down time appearing on his VH1 reality show, "The T.O. Show".

Owens, who has played for the San Francisco 49ers, Philadelphia Eagles, Dallas Cowboys and Buffalo Bills during his 14-year NFL career, had 55 receptions for 829 yards and five touchdowns during the 2009 season. All three totals were Owens' lowest for a season in which he has played 16 games since his rookie year.

This is bad. Way to get Jets fans hopes up Tanny

TO could be a good fit. He's insane, he's a pain in the neck, he loves the media, he loves the bling, the media loves him and at one point in time he was a very good football player who could take over the game.

I'm thinking that HBO is making lots of promises to Woody about season tickets and promotions if T.O. was to suddenly become a compelling addition to Hard Knocks.
