Hmmm, that 4-3 D looks pretty good I'm surprised the Giants are getting this much pressure on Brady. I guess Mangini is even more surprised.
Well said The Giants have a whole bunch of retreads and questionable talent in the secondary but I don't even remember hearing a Giants CB name that whole half. A great pass rush is more than enough to make up for an average secondary. Since the Jets can't generate a pass-rush to save their lives, good talent (Revis and Rhodes for example) are absolutely necessary in the secondary.
Sadly, there's a good chance for that. Leading at halftime after playing poorly will usually result in a win.
I prefer the 4-3, but I don't have any pull. Mangini likes the 3-4 and it's here to stay as long as he's the head coach. We just have to accept it and hope it works.
Another thing that sucks about the Patriots is their horrible uniforms and ridiculous flying head logo. It was much better when the Patriots logo depicted a psycho with a full body. Some of the ones from the mid-1970s to 1980 were crazy-looking, too. The best ones were those. I don't know if it translated to the helmets, but the big logos painted on the field really showed the lunacy of Pat the Patriot.
The Giants should have tried to sneak Peyton Manning onto the field in Eli's uniform after the half...
