Another team will pay his millions as he rehabs? We were lucky to ever have him. Just hope he recovers and can still play like a god. Doc better have his A game.

Yes, his value is at maximum comming off a season ending ACL tear.

    Moron.

Rex and Tanny are happy today, now they have a built in excuse for this abortion of a season.

I think you are right because I don't see there being much reason to think they could stay in mostly man coverage with Revis out. Perhaps Cro can stay with the opponent's #1 wideout (not as well as Revis, but...) and have the rest of the D play zone, but we will definitely see a lot of zone the rest of the season.

They have to wait for the initial swelling to go down before they can operate. You have to wait at least two weeks before the surgery can be performed.

lol you guys are drama queens lol

Revis is a monster but he is not the end all be all. Cro will step up Kyle will finaly play the number 2 he was drafted to play. Kyle is allot more talented then people have been giving him credit for.

The biggest diff this will make in our defense is Bell and Landry wont be able to run around and smack people freely. There will be more over the top help form them.

In all honesty Keller has been a bigger loss to this team then revis will be.

When we finish 9-7 this season (and make wild card) i will bump this thread and giggle at you guys.

Big blow, but that only means that someone else will have to step up.

If the Giants can get production out of their backups, there's no reason why the Jets can't do the same.

Let's see how we are in week 10 before we say the season is over.

That was the most depressing Post-Win Press Conference in Rex's career. Bummer City.

    Exactly.
And this team wasn't making a deep run WITH Revis this year.
If this injury saves Mr. T then we're all fucked more than a year without Revis.

Exactly..all this gloom and doom and bye-bye season makes me want to puke..he is one player on defense no less..yeah, he is great but only on on e side of the field..let Wilson step up and if he can't change the scheme..Ryan knows defense.

His asking price isn't going to change. The only difference now is that the Jets will have a season of watching the team without him upon which they can base their decision as to whether to pay the King's Ransom or let him go.

The only reason that Keller statement is even passable in debate is because you think Sanchez needs his binky. Revis is one of the top 5 CBs to ever play. C'mon man.

And now the safeties have to do more of what is their weakness?

Now we just have to generate a pass rush. No big deal, we come by those opportunities frequently with Revis so with him out, all we have to do is just 'generate it, man.'
