Draft Matt Leinart!!!! If the Jets want to win, they need to draft Matt Leinart. I feel bad for Chad, but the truth is he just physically does not have the strength to throw. Does anyone remember last season before the injury, Chad could not throw over 10 yds without it getting picked off. I was at the Jets vs. Jaguars game when he got hurt and even before the injury you could see there was no zip on his passes, they were all lame ducks just waiting to be picked off. It is a much bigger risk to hang onto Chad then to make a move and get Leinart. Big mistake to hang on to a QB with a severely injured shoulder, then to take a chance on the best QB coming into the draft
I did say I think he will be better. I believe Leinart is a bit overrated. I think he will be a successful NFL QB, but not worth a top 5 salary. I don't watch much college ball, so I am going a bit on assumption and what I have read, but I have seen a bit of Croyle. My opinion of Croyle was strengthened during the senior challenges during Pro Bowl weekend. No, it wasn't a game situation, but in the distance challenge, he had the longest 2 throws, and both were accurate. The next best distance was Young, but he was way off to the side. I like the control he showed there. It is a darkhorse pick, though I wouldn't say it's the mother of all darkhorse picks. Croyle has some diminished value due to his health in the past. Add to that 3 potentially star QBs, and a handful of other QBs who may make an impact, and he drops into round 2, maybe later. I also want him because picking a second round QB gives Penny a better chance to save his job. I know a lot of people are down on Chad, but I still want him to come back and have a chance to prove he does or doesn't deserve the job. If we draft a top 5 QB, that's the pink slip written in advance. No way we spend the pick and money for a guy who is going to sit for 3 or 4 years.

I've always been amazed at how many people butcher the name. I don't think it's that hard to spell. I've heard Lienart, Leinhart, Lionheart, Leinhart, Linehart, etc. It's LEINART!
He is not our QB so freaking what... If he becomes our QB then show him the respect. Lindhark, leinhart, leeninghat, losertart, looneyhack, juicylucy. Id rather have ramsey.
