I basically agree with you, and this is picking at nits, but why do you say that Wilcox hasn't produced? He has had several interceptions, pass breakups in TC and preseason games. He had an interception and a fumble recovery last night. I saw yesterday that the Cowboys are looking for depth at the safety position. I wonder if we could get a low round pick from them for Wilcox or Bryant? If they wait until the Jets cut them, there's no guarantee that either would sign with the Cowboys. Some other team might want them more and be willing to pay them more.
Luvu is being given an opportunity, that’s all I wanted for him. The penalty that was called against him in the eagles game was a joke. His instinct is very good, with some experience he will be a contributor for this team.
“Produced” perhaps isnt the right word for Wilcox bc your right he has.Hes not as athletic as the others in coverage & i recall him getting beat quite a few times. Im not sure i would move Bryant.Hes been impressive from day 1.But its a tough decision bc Brooks is a fantastic 3rd safety & middleton has shown promise for multiple years & has fought his way up the depth chart.Its a tough call.
It seems like he makes a big splash, like he did in carolina, like he did with the Jets, in one game & then he disappears for 3 games. There was always a question with his lack of effort. Thats why carolina, patriots, jets, dallas all let him go. I'll rather keep H. Anderson in that spot.
Agreed. I'd definitely keep Anderson also. Ealy is not a 5 tech. Really would only be used in subpackages for pass rushing like last year, or against more spread offenses.

Tried telling everyone within our WR thread that there was just no chance a soon to be 30 year old WR and former 7th RD WR playing on his 5th team in 6 years in Charles Johnson could ever make this roster. Especially over younger kids in Peake, Stewart and Hansen (none of whom will be cut). Now the 7th round Jag out of William & Marry in Tre McBride who's on his 3rd team in 4 years? He is going to be cut next. Not a chance to stick.
