^I've been waiting for you to pick for hours now.

(It doesn't matter. I'm done picking. I'm just saying I'd like to see the final 4 picks done tonight, and then move on to the backups draft.)

^ I haven't. You could if you want. JetGreen also needs to make his final pick.

Hopefully, we'll hear from Murrell soon to get his ruling.

    Draft, team-by-team
(I didn't get too specific on positions; whether a linebacker played outside or inside, I wrote LB; for guys that played multiple positions I wrote down the position the drafter is playing him at- Bednarik at linebacker, Baugh at punter, Fralic at guard, etc.)

I think we should wait for Murrell to tell us exactly what we will do.

(I edited over this comment with the team-by-team draft picks post. I don't know what I did that for.)

Okay....I think we need to draft 4 back ups. Here is what I suggest..

1 NEEDS to be a QB

You must draft at least one player from each side of the ball. The QB does not qualify as one of the offensive players.

MSU will have to use one of his DB's as one of his backups. I'm surprised no one caught this. Oh well...good eyes Cakes...Let the back up drafting begin.

We'll do reverse order for the back ups... So it starts with DITK

Let me know if anyone objects to this

Thanks for your patience guys...I was supposed to have internet up this weekend at my new place, but unfortunately it wasn't hooked up yet...let's have this finished this week so we can start the "season" on Sunday

It took me a while to type that. I had been writing everyone's picks on some pieces of paper and knew it was better off being here.

In the draft thread I posted the order for the backup picks. I noted LeRoy Butler as being MSUJet85's first backup pick, since he was the third safety MSU selected. The Louis Wright pick was one that he had to make because Wright was his second cornerback. It was the Butler pick that was the one that we all should have caught.

I have a question, I have Sammy Baugh, but as a punter, do I need to draft a backup QB, no worries if I do, just wanting to know

yeah, you drafted him as a punter (and one of the best he was) but you will need to draft a different QB. Baugh is off the board as a QB so no one will be able to take him as a QB.

    I agree with this ruling.

Murrell2878 did not say we need to draft a kick returner, so we don't need to worry about that. That will make my picks easier because I had been thinking about what good kick returners also played an offensive or defensive position at a high level. There are still a couple guys out there like that, but not many at this point since guys like Gale Sayers and Deion Sanders are gone.

By the way, if someone had drafted Sammy Baugh as their starting QB, it would have been a good choice.

I know that Sammy will be a machine on ST for me, with the fakes on 4th down he is quite the weapon, Give me a little bit here, I was gonna take Franco Harris
