this team has lost to Belmont and UAB too. they are proving they can play w/ anyone and lose to anyone. if they can hit FTs they have a chance, both losses came down to FT shooting. I just wish Hairston was able to play then I think the Heels would be legit FF contenders.

No, he's obviously been one of the best recruiters in the sport and no one has more FFs or titles since 2000.

they should have been ranked this week, sure they lost to UAB but it was a road game and certain teams are afraid to play road games. They are 25 in the coaches poll this week. They will be top 20 next week in both polls if they win Saturday.

SJU beating Fordham by 20 at the half. They shot 22/27, 81%. Easily the best offensive half I can ever remember by SJU.
That's what I have been saying all along junc: Your team has problems this year. Your team probably is not a championship team this year. But with a coach like that leading them, this team is more than enough to make the Sweet 16.
