So true. And another example was when Payne made a jumper. His entire front foot was in front of the 3point line. The refs even counted it as a 2 and the announcers said it was a 3. And then on the next possession they were like, "oh it's a 2 pointer not a 3". Well obviously it was a 2.. Watch the game
Great game between UM and UK. Tough to watch as a Umich fan but the better team won. Came down to the last shot and UK made it. They are monsters on the board and Randle had a fantastic game. Would much rather lose to a last second shot than the way Arizona lost last night. Hope UK messes up Wisconsin. I've hated the Badgers all year.
Sorry I wasn't clear Yisman, I was referring to their Final 8 games they had already played, i.e. Florida's defense vs. Dayton and Michigan State's gritty win over UVA, although I didn't think UConn had enough beyond Napier to upset the Spartans - impressive win by the Huskies. And to think, had the higher seeds (Mich St. and Michigan) won, the Big Ten would've matched the Big East's '85 Final Four trifecta of 'Nova, G'town and St. John's.
Oh, those were two different rounds. Florida's win put them in the Final Four. Michigan State's win put them in the Elite 8.
this tourney started out w/ so much promise w/ KU and duke losing early but seeing UK make the FF sucks. Hopefully Wisconsin can end their title hopes.
http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/c...doubtful-final-ankle-injury-article-1.1740615 Kentucky is unlikely to have 7-footer Willie Cauley-Stein for its national semifinal game against Wisconsin on Saturday at the Final Four in Arlington, Tex. "I doubt he plays," Wildcats coach John Calipari said on a conference call Monday afternoon. "He will be on our bench cheering like crazy."
McAdoo leaving early, this is a little stunning. Not a killer but it does hurt. can't seem to get through a year w/o an early defection
SJU falling apart. Obpeka transferring, sounds like others will follow suit. Also rumors Lavin will be gone too. Might be better off at this point if he does. Gotta feel for Harrison though, stick through his trouble and will get to play for a terrible team next season, assuming he doesn't leave either.
