But it was just reported that South Florida found something in the background check and changed their minds. They are not hiring Masiello.

    I wonder if it's a George O'Leary situation.

Current rumor is that it was because South Florida heard about this:

Pretty sloppy work to offer him a deal and then rescind it because they failed to do their homework.

    Reggie Miller so far:

    called Dayton's big man "dominant"
    called Stanford the "Cardinals"
    called Johnny Dawkins "Johnny Davis"

My SD State pick is once again on the line. Hopefully they can beat Arizona and get into the final 8.

Yup, the game was looking good to, but around the point when SD was up about 5 with about 50 points, Arizona just took em to school, then SD made a push with 3s late but it was just to much to overcome.

    Matt Kavanaugh dominant? hmmm....

Only big "State U" schools are left besides Dayton, the only private school out of the bunch. Their run probably ends vs. UF.
UD coach Archie Miller (whose "Mrs." is a babe) is brother to Arizona coach Sean Miller.

Matt Kavanaugh is definitely not a dominant big man. He doesn't even play starter's minutes.

Just was funny to hear Miller call him that. Dayton is not dominant inside. That's not how they win.

I was reading Grantland last night and it referenced Archie's wife, a former model. They predicted the camera would be on her constantly. But I watched a lot of the game and didn't see her once.

Looking like Dave Rice is going to leave UNLV for South Florida..... I'll be glad to be done of Rice and if someone wants to pay this guy 1.2 million a year glad it's not UNLV. I will be disapointed to see us loose out on the recruits he has coming in as Dwayne Morgan already made it seem like he will not come to UNLV I think in the long run this is a good thing for UNLV.
