Quigley. 20 yard punt? In a crucial game? Pretty much anyone can kick 20 yards. There was no one, anywhere that was a free agent, veteran, fan in the crowd that could have suited up and kicked? Not just in this game but all year. He's gotta be close to dead last in the league.

Fitz will take heat for those interceptions, but he was hit as he threw on two of them and they shouldn't have ever been in that desperate situation to begin with.

What about the defense letting the Bills spend 10 minutes of the second quarter on a single drive?

Fitz would have been the hero with the 70 yard TD to Thompkins to win the game

You didn't do your homework if you allowed 11 catches for 150+ yards. They played scared, they thought Watkins would beat them deep on each and every snap. They needed to find a way to take him completely out of the game and let the other receivers beat you. Salas beat the Jets too, but not as bad as Watkins. Revis should've been playing press coverage with safety help over the top. Yes, that would be a lot on one person, but you take him out of the game completely. Cro doesn't play press to save his life so he should've stayed on Salas.

Im certain that Revis' play was mostly due to Bowles' game planning.

But the reason Im pissed at him was not getting in the coaches ear and telling him that he needs to be up on Watkins.

I understand not wanting to get beat deep. But putting a safety over the top could cut down on that. And with the way the weather was yesterday it made it even less likely a deep shot would've been anything more than a one time thing. Way less than the 72 straight 3rd down conversions Buffalo had atleast.

Bowles always gets praised for his "adjustments"..well I didnt see one adjustment yesterday.

you really expect the Jets (or anyone) to take one of the best receivers in the game completely off the stat sheet? Lets give credit to Watkins he's a good player. They didn't play scared with Watkins they played smart. Realizing you aren't going to keep the guy off the stat sheet by trying to keep him from destroying them with the big play. Challenging the QB to find him in areas where he hadn't all year.

    credit to buffalo, they delivered.

Fitzpatrick was missing open guys all game. I blame him far more for the loss than I do anyone on the defense. lets keep it real, I like Fitz, I understand that he is who he is, just a stopgap on a reasonable salary but he lost the game yesterday

The Bills targeted Watkins 15 times. I am not saying to limit him to 0 catches, 0 targets. They made it WAY too easy for Watkins. 15 targets, 11 receptions is awful. That's close to 60% of all the passes targeted that game by Tyrod, and the majority were completed. They moved the chains all damn day because of it. Look what the Pats did to Marshall the first go around. They doubled him on nearly every play and made things extremely difficult for him. It looked too easy yesterday, it was pitch and catch all game long.

We lost because of the lack of preparation and a 70M dollar CB playing like a pussy - that's the truth. A great player rises up to the challenge, he should've been in Bowles face either admitting he needs help or needs to change the way they are going up against him. He was simply hurting the team. I am not going to put this on Fitz, was it his fault Enunwa dropped 2 TD passes? That shovel pass to Q was an easy TD

Lets be honest.... Quigley put us in the early hole with his booming 22 yarder. Asshole didn't even have any pressure on him

I hate to give credit to Rex, but he coached a hell of a game. His propensity to defer on the coin toss really paid off in this game. This put Fitzpatrick, not the strongest throwing arm, starting the game deep in Jets territory against a strong wind. An early Jets penalty didn't help. Buffalo was able to take advantage of this and keep the Jets pinned deep all quarter. He also had his lineman prepared for those WR screens Fitzpatrick had success with during the win streak. Many of those were batted down at LOS.

All you are doing is just repeating stats. I understand Watkins had a good game, that's why I said credit to him and Taylor.

Watkins went 3 for 14 the first time they played and Revis approached him the same way he did yesterday. The difference is Taylor played better yesterday. The "preparation" or "played like a pussy" was not any different between the 2 games from Revis

Also, you can't play press coverage on a burner like Watkins and they were adjusting to double him some in the second half and it obviously didn't help.

Yeah they played well I thought they would quit on their season, Rex has Fitzpatricks number unfortunately.

On that early completion to Decker that got called back did they show the replay on TV? Did he really step out of bounds? Or was it a phantom call? Just wondering because I didn't see from where I was

So we are capable of beating Tom Brady but not Tyrell Taylor????SMH

Bowles knew his shtick ...poor preparation here plus we have wonderful Pace and Davis out there . They exploited us there for sure

I am repeating stats because that's what happened. A ridiculous cushion on each and every snap. Playing scared or like a pussy is no way to win a match-up. They were scared Watkins would beat them deep.

You can put press coverage on a burner to not only throw off the timing but to have help over the top. I didn't see much press coverage, cept for 1 or 2 plays in the 2nd and I definitely didn't see any double teaming of any sort.

I would've had much more respect for Revis if they actually tried to stop him instead of giving him those insane cushions for easy first downs.

its tyrod taylor and lets not act like there wasn't a bigger difference between the Buffalo and NE games, our own QB play on the other side.

Fitzpatrick threw for 300 yards and 3 TDs, 0 INTs against New England. If he did that yesterday the Jets win by double digits and Watkins/Taylor completing those passes don't mean shit.

Instead Fitzpatrick completes 43% of his passes, missing open guys all game long and 3 excruciating INTs. Game over, season over

You know I had a worse feeling having to be playing Buff than NE.

Mac and Bowles have to strategize getting the best players to beat both...oh well. Back to work for me

Yet, Enuwna gets a pass for dropping 2 easy passes 1 for a TD. Are we now expecting Fitz to throw for 300 yards and 3 TDs in every crucial game?
