I want to say they were 50-1. I can't remember after this long, but I know my math teacher at the time put down money and won a ridiculous amount for the amount he put down. I think he put down $20 and won $1000 so 50-1 seems about right. Not the longest shot though that is for sure, which is kinda strange. I guess at the time people still had faith in Drew Bledsoe?
The fools. I'm still looking for a prop bet on how long it takes for the Bledsoe/Owens marriage to implode.
And most of the local casinos (Station) have them at 70/1. That was about 2 hours ago. There is no way the casinos have the guts to post the true odds on future bets as they don't take in enough money to cover any bigger hit then 10/1. True odds would be from 140 to a low of 120 to 1.
I was in Las Vegas at the start of the 1995 season (also start of the Rich Kotite era), and the Jets were 50/1. I put $5 on them, would have been better off getting my shoes shined..
