    Exactly my sentiments. Great post.

We can't alllow ignorant, uninformed people perpetuate more uniformed nonsense about the Jets. If these types of threads do the job, then all the better.

Nobody was being sensitive. The media attacks the Jets on a daily basis, this is nothing new. It seems like you are the overly sensitive one, since pointing out the obvious ignorance about Obama's statement and laughing at him for it, seems to have some feathers ruffled. I wonder why people don't defend Cimini when he says the same nonsense? If I read ignorance I'm going to correct it. I don't care if you're a bum on the street, a hack journalist, or the president of the United States.

All I was doing was showing more justification of the Jets vs the world mentality. Even the president is in on it.

First of all, there IS a controversy at least in the media, and you can close your eyes and say a hundred times over that Sanchez is the starting Qb, but you don't know how long that will last. There is nothing obvious here other than that you have bought the party line put out by Ryan. BFD.

    Untwist your panties.

So to clarify, you truly believe that Tebow could potentially challenge Sanchez for the starting QB job?

This is the type of statement that someone makes if they don't understand how a football team works.

And for Big Blocker, that could never be more true. I just watched Willie McGinest and Charlie Casserly, both of whom like to criticize the Jets, ridicule and laugh at football-idiot Fran Charles for vehemently declaring the same type of QB controversy crap I have read in this forum.

The media and the fans do not run football teams.

For the love of God, can we leave politics out of the football forums? But for what it's worth, it was a "conservative" who put two decade long wars on the company credit card and signed the initial bank bailout. Obama has not really done anything to help the economy, but he hasn't really hurt it much, either. To call him a Marxist just proves that you have absolutely no clue what you're talking about.

Please look at Sanchez contract extension details. He's going nowhere.

A controversy in the media is not a controversy on the team. This is why I laugh at this crap and you know the team and coaches do as well. The media doesn't dictate what happens on the team. Rex Ryan and Tony Sparano do. Sanchez is doing a good job against the 1s on D. Tebow is struggling against the 2s. You can't really deny that he's the go to guy. There is no competition. Tebow is happy with his role and will try to help us win. There is no controversy. Just reading the training camp tweets shows you that.

If he commented on anything having to do with the NFL, I'm not surprised. Sure can't focus on trying to improve this country. That would be ludicrous!

Nobody defends Cimini because it's his JOB to report on the Jets and inform the public. He likes to start shit because people like reading it. It is not Obama's JOB to report on the Jets. He's the president. Obama isn't at the jets camps, but apparently he has time to watch the lies spread by ESPN. I honestly would be really concerned if Obama knew the real plan for the Jets. He would be spending to much of his time focusing on shit that doesn't matter. Anybody can turn on ESPN and see the filth they have on the Jets, it's played at nausea, and is usually the headlining story.
