NY Rangers General Thread

Actually not sad at all. He’s 38 years old. Scored 31 goals this season after a really slow start. Willed a bad roster that sold at the deadline to the playoffs. And then was overmatched by the President’s Trophy winners. He’s now 41 goals away from the all-time goals record. Far from sad.

He definitely had a rough series. Not sure if he was hurt or just ran out of steam. The Caps really had to grind the last couple months.

Good luck against the Canes. This will actually feel like a playoff series for you guys because the Caps barely challenged the Rangers. Even when the Caps scored first the Rangers instantly tied it.

I am REALLY concerned after Game 1. The Canes must have fanned on a half of a dozen wide open shots in the slots. The Rangers were fortunate to win this game.

Entertaining game, but you really can’t say the Rangers have been the better team. They steal this one in OT and that’s a dagger.
