Separated Shoulder is usually a month. Lets hope Klein didn't break his foot. Klein and McDonagh both have MRI's tomorrow.

My son was nearby the locker room and texted me soon after it was seperated.....it was a clean hit, Klein may miss a few games, hopefully not, but if it wasn't that bad he would have gone back in especially in a desperate situation like that, my son told me because the game was close they didn't use Stemp on defense
Totally agree, they circled the wagons and pitched in really well to cover for them. I thought at first the hit was maybe high the way McDonagh crumpled to the ice but it actually was a clean hit. Looking at it a second time, it appeared if McD could've peeled back a little quicker to retrieve the puck and not reversed his direction (towards the back of the net) once he gained possession which gave Evander Kane time to line him up it could've maybe been avoided (admittedly, far from me to suggest what McD should've done, just an observation) . It's a shame , a damn shame but it wasn't boarding. And, nice game Henrik.

JT Miller isn't going to be traded unless we are getting a very good defenseman back. McIlrath and Allen are coming up. Girardi played 34:50 yesterday. The last time a Ranger played that much in a regular season game was Leetch in 2000. Winnipeg is bad so Hunwick and Kostka didn't look that bad, but we seriously might need to see Girardi and Staal playing 35 minutes per game against better teams. The Rangers are now missing 5 players due to injuries or suspensions.
Mac hasn't been playing especially well this season and has been completely invisible so far on offense. Relative to his performance he won't be missed that much but obviously the replacement won't compare so it's a hit to the team any way you look at it. The positive is that he may need the rest so hopefully he recharges in the next month and comes back fresh, although I expect the recovery to last many more weeks than after he's back on the team if you remember how he was a shell of himself last year after the Vancouver injury
