I think some big trades are going to come, but barring that I hope the Olympic experience has a big positive influence on these guys.

I would bring up Hrivak, Lindberg, Mcilrath, Kristo, Beach and Jim Schoenfeld...try something, anything, they seem like they don't even care...

Stepan, Brassard and Boyle are all disappointments, especially Steps

I don't care about the Olympics, if anything, maybe it will help this team in some way, how I have no idea.

Last time it hurt us, killed all our momentum, but this year we have no momentum so what can it hurt...I would offer up for trade Brassard, Miller, Stepan, Kristo, Lindberg, Hrvik, Hagelin, Staal and AV...Kreider and McD are probably the only untouchables

The WORST thing Sather could have done to HIMSELF was fire Torts. Torts managed to hide the deficiencies of this team with his Hitler-like rule and demanding style of coaching. As I said ad nauseum the last couple years, hate him or love him, Torts got wayyyyy more out of this team than the talent level would have you expect.

Now Sather is exposed because as we've also said ad nauseum, despite Dumsteins moronic evaluation, this team is a collection of B and C type players.

There are 3 A's on the entire roster----McD, Nash and Hank. That's it.

Torts got the most out of this crap, I would add Kreider to the untouchables

Hank?????!! Are you kidding????? A??? just kidding jon.

I wasnt a fan of Torts because like our football team...not a big fan of having a coach just to hide weaknesses.

With that said, I pretty much think your post is dead on..good one. Except for the cumstein comment. Do not think he has enough up top to even attempt to evaluate anything.

And cumstein...I usually do not like going after posters but one day about 6 weeks ago I created a thread about how the secondary sucks. Your reply will always stick in my head bud...always.

I will tell you who I feel real bad for..and thats Boyle..seems like a nice kid. Saw him on an MSG doc. Comes from a really big nice family. Huge kid who cant fight...cant score..can barely hit..horrible skater...no stick talent at all. Kills penalties I guess?

I just do not get why he is in the lineup. Had that brief burst early in the playoffs last year and that was it.

Im sitting here trying to come up with anothe player close to A and I come up with Girardi..but he is sooooo 1 dimensional. Stepan, who except for 3 bursts during the year is a good 3 center. Zuc how just repeat the same thing as Stepan but put him on the wing...would have been a real adorable player in the smurf years.

Kreider who is still young..but so up and mostly down. He skates real hard some nights but hasnt show what I really thought he had...a goal touch. He hits the goalies stomach 75% of his shots.

It's a scary situation when Zuccarello is playing better than anyone on the team.

^he says all we want are worthless goons well they called up asham and now mcilrath who is a beast in the ahl. So apparently were not the only ones who think toughness is an issue but cumstain thinks we're ready to win the cup.

AV should get a raise for installing a modern day puck possession system and exposing Sather's core as being mediocre at best.
