Boston not that long ago in 2010 blew a 3-0 series lead to the Flyers and lost.

    Hope right?

and thinking about it bit more and its the system.

Lets just take a look at our defenseman. Can anyone say that Girardi....MAC...MDZ...even Straman at times..that these guys have no offensive ability?

Girardi showed last year in the playoffs the ability to shoot from the point. Both MAC and MZD have both shown the ability to take the puck from one end to the other.

The problem with this team is the SYSTEM. Period.

I'm gonna need your boys to do me a favour. it's going to take us six or maybe seven now to get past Pittsburgh and I could really do with Boston not having a week off to rest up before we play them on our way to Alfie's Cup. Any chance you could, y'know, win a game or even two, please? Maybe even try checking them once or twice, just give them the odd bruise?

I see the Rangers left Lundqvist out to dry again. What a shocker!

I agree with you all about Torts' use of Kreider, but I was just saying that it's not fair to call the kid a pussy when he wasn't shying away from contact at all.

It has been hours. I STILL can not believe the line-up Tortorella put on the ice for Boston's game winning goal. What was he thinking?!?!

I agree, pitiful effort in the most important game of the season. It looked like there were 8 Bruins on the ice, couldn't complete a pass, no offensive zone pressure, PP was a joke, Hank and Pyatt, came to play, the other 18 were out to lunch. Torts should shoulder most of the blame, your system wasn't working try something, anything else. They rolled over and played dead. They let their loyal fans down and didn't compete. No heart is right Jonny, along with no guts.

Jaywayne----youre being very unfair to the Bruins. Rangers have looked terrible but teh Bruins have been tremendous. Lets not foget, this is basically teh same team that won the cup two years ago.

They have put massive pressure on the Ranger D. ( theyve made Girardi look like a rookie), their D have joined the play wonderfully, and they have completely controlled the puck the entire series, and they have put forth 5 times the effort NYR have

I was least upset after last night than any other game. They got steam rolled. Bruins wanted it more played harder and are deeper. Simple as that. Sometimes you gotta give credit where its due.

At this point, Ill agree that its time for Torts to go but at the same time, I have to blame the players more than Torts.

The system is not the reason we showed zero effort.

Definitely not the system that provided us zero forecheck---thats the opposite of the system

so on and so on.....what a gigantic disappointment. I didnt think we'd win the series but way too often in this series we've looked like we dont even belong in the playoffs.

Did Stepan dress for any of the games this series? I dindt even hear his name.

Cally was terrible in this series. Brassard? What happened to the Brassard from the Caps series??? Girardi????? OOOOFA.

I guess too many of our top guys just had a terrible few games at teh worst possible time.

    Baseball time fellas. ugggggggggggggggg

Shitty as shitty can be last night. I was sure they'd go to OT as the minutes ticked down in the 3rd. Not like that would have meant anything with how bad this team is in OT. I've been a pretty big supporter of Torts for a long time and I know that management loves the guy too, but I don't know how you keep him if they get swept on Thursday night. Even though winning one, even two games is really just window dressing, being swept by a team that you're so often compared to as a similarly built team, I just don't know how he stays.

Their depth is obviously killing us guys. They roll 4 lines and we barely have 2

I hate to be right. I am rooting for the Sharks now, at least they are fun to watch.

Only if Hank could score goals also, we would have a chance.
