If Richards, Boyle, and Nash could start doing better, I'd say the Bruins are in for a world of hurt.
Yeah...very happy about Boyle...Pyatt...the 4th line etc...but all season long we trashed the hell out of them because THIS is how you become a great team...by getting something...even just shots on net out of the 4th line. FINALLY...they arrive and the timing is perfect. Tonite Asham scored his second of the series and the other 4 goal scorers all scored their first of the series...thats the key. Nash will have a great series against the Bruins..at least much better point wise. A fast skating defense like the Caps caused him trouble and now this matchup suits him much better. What a f'in game...truly memorable game. To dominate like that in the second and third periods are the making of runs. This Cap team was as skilled as anyone in the league with only their down low defense a tad weak. And not to pour salt on the wound but I was getting really tired of watching Holtby before games with his "ritual" for all the world to see. Really got on my nerves. And I know it was frustration but the way the CAPS went after the wrists of many Rangers was scary in the 2nd and 3rd period and Im happy...I THINK..that we came out of that game OK.
Big time win fellas...Both teams are banged up for the next series...We nee Clowe to battle that scum Lucic. We need to run circles on their defense...We need Henrik to continue his desire for glory. What a epic effort. Proud of the win.
Which is the better team? Bruins or Rangers. I hate to face Boston teams. I hate Boston so much. Although not a hockey fan, If Rangers lose this series to Boston I will not recover for a week. I am serious.
