Im sure the Capitals will come attacking tomorrow too...We need to sustain the momentum and keep rattling Holtby...If we keep shooting it makes things tight on them
We need Lundqvist to be at his very best. This may be one of those games where he carries the Rangers to victory.
oh I agree, I certainly don't want to see the return of the turtle offense.........but I don't think that will happen. They already doubled their output of 4 goal games versus last years playoffs and I think they've got some mojo/confidence going. Let's face it , to win this series Hank is going to have to steal a game, preferably tomorrow. He's capable, and due! no Softies! (I see you just said that too)
Kreider was given plenty of chances when he was up here. He was a step behind mentally all year long. Up until the last few weeks of the season he had been brutal in Hartford, too. He needs the full camp next year, and with an 82 game schedule, Torts will give him even more opportunities. I'd be shocked if at least two of Kreider, Miller, Lindberg, Fast don't make the team out of camp next year.
pretty excited about seeing the kids, but I'm not happy about having Torts running the ship. We'll see though.
when Boyle wasnt doing the little things, he was benched. So was Kreider. The idea that Torts was harder on Kreider or has a vendetta against him is ridiculous. And if Kreider canttake the pressure of having to perform, then oh well, hes not ready. The kid isnt ready. Why is this so difficult for some to grasp? Just because he hada nice little streak when he first appeared does not mean he cant go back to Hartford a few times before he makes it with the big club for good. Same thing happened to JT Miller and he'sprolly more NHL-ready than Kreider is.
He'll be fine. It's easy to romanticize what he did because it really was an awesome run. But he's not playing for good reason. The idea that his growth was stunted is ridiculous. He was an undrafted kid fresh out of school that played unconscious. There's a good chance that he won't be that kind of a player all the time. He'll be fine with a full camp and a full season to learn the ups and downs.
Growth isn't stunted at all, he's a mentally tough kid, he will be an elite power forward in this league soon
dude, the big retard played well Wednesday. Kreider is completly one dimensional at this point and he wasnt exactly lighting up the score board
I hope youre right but to predict ELITE and SOON isa ballsy prediction. Again, i hope youre right. I like the kids speed and size, thats for sure
