I see no difference in Holtby's play last night versus game one. The difference is that when he was beaten list night, pucks didn't clang off the post, and he was unable to pull any goals out of the net with his glove after they passed the goal line.
Or if you're not stuck in the stone age, stand at the kinkos on 7th & 29th and buy the tickets from your smartphone and go print them out 5 minutes before game time. They don't even drop the puck until 15 mins past that anyways
Holtby admitted after the game that the Rangers team got to him because of the quickshots...He said it was easy in game 2, well if they keep attacking aggressively it will go a long way against him
once its within 2 hours of game time, theres no more electronic transfer availalble, for whatever reason. So you have to pick them up. THats whay eyedea is sayin
Actually, Richards hit the post (typical) and almost made it 2-1 after our first goal I believe. But I basically agree with all of what you said.
90% of all the tickets remaining just before game time are download only. The sellers either already downloaded them from their account earlier or that's the format they got them in from ticketmaster or wherever
Nash doesn't hit the post and its 2-1 Rangers, you should worry , the Caps are good but they are not the 90's Oilers
The problem with Rangers fans in this thread, is you only think about the Rangers. The Capitals have had plenty of opportunities to score, and didn't, too. The Caps have not played that great, yet have a 2-1 series lead. Game 3 was pretty bad, but they held strong til the end. I don't feel the Caps are some great team either. I had the Rangers as my #1 team in the East before the season began. I thought this series would be pretty even and it has been. Yet now, despite being down 2-1, this thread seems to be acting like the Rangers are way better than the Caps.
in what way? we've all done nothing but complain about the rangers play? all season as well as a matter of fact. have you lost your senses?
I don't think so at all, the teams are very evenly matched...one thing bugs me though, letting the Caps control the puck in your zone for 45 seconds at a time, would like to see a forecheck like the Caps
news flash..........it's a Rangfer fan thread not that i don't welcome your input, but really you , JE , we always have to have one pain in the ass fan of the playoff opposition represented in our team's thread, you're lucky we let you stay! I kid of course....well a little. I don't see anyone being overly boastful or confident in this thread, and by the way, that really doesn't matter does it, we are fans, we're not on the team or anything. I think all anyone is saying in repsonse to your pov about how the Caps played, you know, not their best in your opinion.........the same can be said of the Rangers Game 2 which easily could have ended differently as well.
Yeah, I guess there is nothing wrong with you guys mostly discussing the Rangers in a Rangers thread. I am just saying you have to also factor in the Capitals are going to adjust and play different in Game 4. Not as simple as just saying "If the Rangers do this...." cause it works both ways. The Rangers could play lights out in Game 4 and Holtby could rob them. You never know.
I have no issue with anything at all that you have said above. My onlu point is that Holtby is overrated. You actually have people acting as if he is the second coming of Ken Dryden. He isn't Ken Dryden, and guess what? He isn't Henrik Lundqvist either.
TDK I could start a Caps thread for you... By the way as proven here most Rangers fans had bit parts in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest...
