comeon. Now youre not being fair. Youre making it seem llike hes a liability everytime he steps on the ice.

Fact is, although not so much last night, hes one of the few guys who can SKATE the fuckin puck out of our own zone. Which is a GIGANTIC short-fall on our team. So one could say Gabs has saved us a few goals this playof series. Go back and watch some of the Ottawa games. A lot of those ludicrous 2 minute shifts in teh Ranger zone were finally ended because Gabs was able to skate the fuckin puck out

watching Prust and Boyle nudge the puck up our half boards one inch at a time at a snail's pace is unwatchable. They NEVER get the puck out. Same with Rupp and mitchell

Btw Hackett, Gaborik would have had a goal last night if not for a lucky face-down, kick-his-leg up save from Brodeur in the 1st period. And I'm not gonna start with the almosts because I suppose you could argue Prust "almost" beat Brodeur on a wrap around and what not but I'm just saying. He's obviously the most talented hockey player on the team. Don't be ridiculous saying they have a better chance to score with him off the ice than on it.

i'd like to see the Rangers actually establish a power play one of these games, Richards seems to be the only guy who doesn't panic, gaborik as well, both them usually find a clean stick to pop a pass to, everyone else is on edge to me, or is that a testament to the Devils aggressive kills last night, you'd have thought they were on the power play.

Granted they got pinned in their own zone a few times, and not to split hairs but I mean the Rangers went 2-4 on the PP last night. I'll take that every day of the week.

I agree with jonny... we had a good powerplay, secondary scoring was working, and goaltending was not bad...Defense was sluggish on passes, and our top guys failed to show up

Huh? I didn't say any of that stuff?!?! My point is that we have six good defensemen who all unfortunately play the exact same style of game. I didn't say anything about Gaborik.

Damn what a machine. The LA Kings are Skynet, and Skynet is now self-aware...

This might be the dummiest thing I have ever seen ..

    1. Arrive at the airport 1 to 2 hours before (extra time to be molested by TSA)

    2. wait for departing flight (hope/pray by the grace of good your flight is not delayed)

    3. wait for plane to unboard

    I would say a total of 3 hours ..

driving take 30-40 minutes how stupid.

I've been to lots of Ranges vs Devils games @ Newark it was never a problem. I've even seen playoff games there.

Not that I'm defending it as something I would do (Live in Jersey anyway so more than obviously a waste) but clearly this isn't about a more convenient or economical means of traveling to the game. Although who the hell knows if you're coming from the Island to Newark on a Saturday morning/afternoon. It's about the fanfare and the stuff that comes along with it.

This flight leaves from the Marine Terminal, almost no TSA lines. You'll also be able to meet Rangers alumns on the plane and likely get on TV. Dumbest idea ever and greatest idea ever at the same time

eyedea, this is not about getting to the game faster. It's a special gimmick. Everyone knows driving would be faster than flying.

    at the comments

heard shortly after taking off from LaGuardia, "Sorry folks there has been a freak thunderstorm pop up we are going to have to divert to Philidelphia.

    -------

I can see it now: "Passengers on 20 mile flight stuck on tarmac for 7 hours."
