Pretty sure I just broke my hand when I leaped up and smacked the wall.

    Totally worth it.

I think the reason he scores is because he's the only player left with any energy, which is a result of him being a lazy fuck all night. If he'd put in a bit more effort earlier in the game, they all might have gone home a bit earlier.

Getting the OT winner should not excuse his miserable performance so far in the whole of the playoffs.

Not a hockey fan, but gotta say huge win for the Rangers. If your going to play 3OT, you BETTER WIN. Im sure the Caps are sick to their stomach, putting so much into one game and losing.

the rangers clearly to my eyes have played the better hockey overall but washington has done such a great job getting in the rangers shooting lanes.
the caps looked more gassed than the rangers to me from the 1st OT on to the end.
what a tremendous win, great job, i'm not gonna bitch at or call out anyone, they won, end of story.

Damn. Good game. Hope it doesn't crush the Caps' spirits. Tough to bounce back from that.

incredible game...incredible. Yeah...Gab has really struggled and looked as if its not 100 percent..but when guys of his caliber struggle...they just get lost and every decision looks like shit.

Hopefully, it gets him going because if he does get going...dangerous team.

Cally? What a great great great player. Always have had so much respect for him but his play is now at a different level...if thats even possible. As complete a player as there is in the NHL right now. Sick player. Sick.

One of the greatest Rangers games in history

Not gonna lie...Both teams were unbelievable, refs were calling it right, and the defense, oh man that goaltending by both goalies.

    Ridiculous

    McD - 53:27 minutes played
    MDZ - 43:37 minutes played
    Staal - 49:30 minutes played
    Girardi - 44:22 minutes played
    Bickel - 3:24 minutes played

Yeah it is sad, but Bickel does not belong in this series...Eminger needs to be out there against the Capitals. Come on Torts

    Awesome game.

I feel bad for Bickel. Just scratch him, that much bench time, seeing your teammates totally gassed and still fighting and not being able to help is pretty rough.

    My thoughts:
-Henrik is a fucking God (as usual)
-Ryan McDonough (POI: 53 mins) is a warrior
-every time Kreider was on the ice he was making plays
-Cally was his usual gritty self
    -Gaborik finally scored!!!!
-Richards made a BEAUTIFUL pass on that game-winner
-Doc Emrick is a legend in the booth. Couldn't have called a better game.

I have to agree with you on every point.

Great win, and hopefully brings forth a ton of confidence and gets Gabby back on track.

Great points...yeah...Emrick really is one of the best play by play guys in any sport. He has mastered calling the game of Hockey better than any other person in any other sport. Friggin legendary.

Tort said after the game that once the OT's started, it was impossible to put Bick in the game. He called it totally unfair if he went to him at that point after sitting for so long. I guess what else could he say...but im sure there is some truth to that because Tort doesnt sugar coat.

Yeah...the only thing I would like to see from Kreider at this point is feel like the star when entering the O zone with the puck. Go to the net and get a shot off instead of dumping or looking to pass. There were a couple times when he had the step and speed yet dished off.

That will come when he really knows how good he is. Real pleasure and what a great surprise to have that guy land on your door step this time of year.
