the hunt for Aso imo was the beginning and end of what was positive for the JETS in the Rex era. This hunt proves it was too much importance put on somewhere else other than the QB. The JETS did not realistically need to add another strong CB. One in which later proved how overrated he is. It was this hunt that caused confusion and upset many key jet players. It is Rex's obsession with the D that leads me to continue to believe Sanchez wasnt developed correctly. The QB key pieces that offseason should of had top priority to a QB who is developing. But it wasnt. Instead the Jets were willing to throw the "entire" bank at some corner. Instead damage control had to be done and that damage control was signing a guy straight out of prison. That signing for some odd reason to you seems like the JETS cared. To me it doesnt.
the hunt for Aso was an epic fail signing free agents to huge deals kill team building pay your own before you pay another guy big money
