The Vikes D is the real thing this year and they have the real ability to shut our offense down on Sunday. Most of their struggles have been Brad Johnson giving up turnovers, general offensive ineptitude, suspect play calling and lousy special teams play which has put an incredible amount of pressure on their defense. If we don't bring the A game this D can be nasty. They got torched by Brady which has been their only real bad game this season. I doubt our O can torch them like the Pats did, though see if anybody is overconfident they better think again.
This game is really going to be a hard game for the Jets running game. The Vikings' run defense is for real. They haven't allowed a back to gain over 60 yards since week four.
That said, if the f'in Red Sox can win a World Series after 86 years of futility, then someone should eventually breakthrough on the Vikes and run it up their ass. Why not us???
good run d good for jets as i said in another thread, the jets win when they come out throwin. penny gets in a rhythm and the defense is on its toes. after slicing up secondary we then run and get good yardage, every game we won has worked that way. Jets cannot run well enough to setup the pass with the run. Penny is better when he throws more often anyway
