Colts better be ready for a full game of shonn greene and a new look passing game that is putting up points on the best defenses in the league.

Run the ball efficiently and control the clock, we need 28+ points, we all know that, the defense not only needs to get pressure but the receivers have to be jammed up at the line ALL game. Everyone get a hand on receiver in the first 5 yards every fucking play, we need to knock them off course and force Manning to make mistakes since he's having an off year, it's our best chance to win.

The Titans only needed 24 points.

...and if their center didn't fuck up the snap, they only needed more than 20.

While Peyton certainly terrifies me, I think this Jets team has a good chance of beating the Colts this time around. Our offense can put up numbers, we've shown it in bursts this season with the best coming right before the playoffs. We've faced better defenses by far, ( steelers, bears... ) and if it comes down to it Sanchez and company should be able to put up 30 points.

Definitely need to step up the pressure on Peyton and stop giving up those ridiculous 3rd and long plays.

bottom line is we need to score points against the colts, and our defense needs to force a turnover or two or at the very least keep peyton on his heels.

their defense is trash compared to last year when we looked great in the first half offensively during the AFC championship game. gotta figure that even with all their injuries the colts should put up at least 20. their anemic running game won't get it done against our D though, so it's really going to ultimately be on our secondary to step it up and on schotty to call a balanced game and keep sanchize in a rhythm....

this game being indoors might bode well for us, because a fired up arrowhead stadium covered in snow might have been a recipe for disaster considering our record this year in defensive oriented games. the chiefs run the ball a lot better than we do this year, and though i'm not up on the 'sanchez sucks in cold weather' soapbox i would definitely prefer a dome game to get his confidence up for the playoffs.

hate this match up...hate it. You need to have a pass rush to beat a guy like Manning and we have none. Our D is NOT as good as last years and he torched us last year. Jay Culter hung 38 on us, Brady hung 45 on us...how the hell can anyone be confident?

I understanding rooting and being a fan but ...reality?

You're absolutely right. This isn't the same Colts team. Way too many first teamers out for the season. That's the difference between the Colts winning the close games last year and losing several of them this year. If the Colts pull out a win, it will be an upset in my opinion.

cant say that though. It wasn't a playoff game. Peyton will most likely do his thing.

Look at last season. he went off. He'll do his thing this year. We have to score a lot to win this

I know, but I get nervous, I also think fake blitz's might be in order, you think that would be a good idea?

I'll root and be a fan... But..... the only way anyone is uber confident would be if they're wearing the grean colored shades

fuck this shit...we are going to win next week against the Colts.

This is the way its set up...what are you going to do? Fuck the Bungles for losing the way they did against the thankful Ravens...

Manning beat us last year, so i hope people understand that this year we need to change this

I think it has the potential to be a shootout. I think we will run the ball, control the clock and keep Manning off the field. I think we'll be able to put points on the board.

I also think Manning will carve us when he's on the field. No reason to believe we will magically develop a pass rush.

I think we have a good chance though. That's all you can ask for.

I know many people would have rather faced KC, which is understandable. I however, do not feel that way for two reasons.

    1. I am insane. The matchup against the Colts makes me far more nervous and therefore its going to be a much more exciting game.

    2. IF we beat the colts, I feel this team has so much more of a chance to be successful in the rest of the tournament. A win against Indy could give us so much more momentum than if we beat KC.

I'm pumped for the rematch! (And somewhat confident)

I am the biggest Manning and Colts fearer, and even I can see they aren't as good as usual. This is the Jets game to win. The Colts are worse than last year's team and the Jets are better than last year's team. This one will be close. Can't make mistakes. Jets win it!

Im sure Rex is working on it as we speak. Hell, he could have worked on it during the Buffalo game if he knew who we were playing.

I'm with you man we gotta rush Manning to have success and we can't do it for christ sake cutler threw for 400 against us. to win we're gonna need to run the ball well and kill clock with long sustaining drives

Vengence can be so fucking sweet but this won't be easy by any stretch. Colts arent as dominant on O as they were in recent years and there D which was good last year is average at best outside of the pass rush, They still have Peyton and playing in there house with those crazy shithead fans is going to make it tougher, That being said i think we can pull a Same Old Jets and pull off an upset of sorts.Get some pressure and Run the ball often and Pass on 1st downs and we should be good.
