i would sit a goddamn soul...we were flat after the bye and we were awful when we had extra rest before new england
Agreed. Week 2 is a distant memory. They are a far superior team right now. I think we at least have a shot against anybody else.
I would give Gholston the next couple of weeks off with specific instructions to follow Tom Brady around, then when he sees a chance run him the fuck over.
I agree about giving key guys a rest. Notably Sanchez. He looked good throwing the ball today, but he should rest that shoulder. I'd like to see LT get some touches to get back on track. The Bills have a terrible run defense, it would be nice if LT can light it up and get some confidence going into the playoffs. Although not a huge milestone anymore, I think it would mean a lot to him to get a 1k yard season for the first time in 3 years. Let McKnight get some touches like the last Buffalo game. If we go with Brunell, we might see a ton of running next week. All that said. I think it's important to finish with a win. I'm afraid of this team going into the playoffs on a slide. Especially if they lay an egg at home, the fans there will be all over them. Playoffs baby!
I'd rest Taylor, certainly - he represents what little pass rush we have - and I'd probably also give Mangold the chance to rest his shoulder. I think I'd also try and rest everyone I could in the secondary bar Lowery who needs as many reps as possible at safety.
I think maybe he will play most of the starters the first half unless they are already banged up too much. I can see maybe Ellis, Ihedibo, and Holmes taking the week off to get rested up. Sanchez looked good today and he played like his shoulder didn't bother him at all.
LT-13 rushes for 28 yards Greene-12 rushes for 70 yards Why do you want LT to carry the load over Greene? When Greene will be way more productive.
He was swinging his arm trying to keep it loose all game, it's clearly bothering him. Let's let old man Brunell go out there and play for a week. I'd like to see McKnight and Wilson get lots of time as well.
Good call. Taylor needs to sit and get his legs back this week. Ellis should as well, he looks awfully slow. He had a few sure shots on Cutler today, and he just couldn't make it there on time.
Ehh. It wasn't as if the Jets lost 44-0 today. The Jets haven't had a tolerable loss like this one today since, I don't know, maybe the Brooks Bollinger games late in 2005 when we just didn't give a shit anymore. The Saints lost their last 3 games in 2009. The Colts lost their last 2 games in 2009. Each of them made it to the Super Bowl.
