FYI guys, in 1980 Richard Todd threw 30 interceptions and the Jets went 4-12.

They hired Joe Walton the next year, Todd had his best year, and the team went 10-5-1 and to the playoffs.

You mean they'll only take up OC spots from teams that has players performing at a high level? When you are hired as an OC, there's that slight chance the players are not performing...just saying.

and 2 years later drafted Kenny O. Sanchez's career is salvageable, but not in this town......

btw, I think Sparano is fucking HORRIBLE. While I was happy to see Shotty go, I did mention my hesitation with bringing this guy in, but he's even worse than I thought

I don't think Alex Smith ever looked as badly as Sanchez has this year. I could be wrong though.

Norv is a very good OC. Something this team hasn't seen since Charlie Weiss.

Edwards,Holmes,Kerley(slot),Keller, Cumberland, Sanchez, with a Real OC, is a pretty good set of hands talent.

Screen Pass, Wheel route? Seen one lately?

The modern NFL is about 3 seconds and 6 yards. You need a coach that gets it.

Gruden or Cowher can't develop QBs. Norv can. It's time Norv, bring your ass to NY along with your favorite QB coach and anyone else. Rex and Norv, have a few beers sit down talk about :shit:

I was against his hiring! Especially living in South Florida and all of the local radio shows talked about how he got so pumped up after scoring a field goal. What coach get that excited over a field goal! You should only get that excited over a WINNING FIELD GOAL! Sparano has to go!!!!!!!!!

No,Sanchez is the guy, and can get you where you need to go.

You only need a real OC, and Return Edwardls,Holmes Kerley,Keller,Cumberland..and understands the modern NFL?

I don't know what to think about this. One turnover machine for another turnover machine.

Reread what I said. I never said Rivers wasn't a better QB than Sanchez. All I said was Rivers is right there for turnovers with Sanchez.

Anyone who thinks Mark is better than Rivers clearly doesn't watch football. Also, it obviously wouldn't be a straight up Sanchez for Rivers. We are going to have give something up. Is the draft pick really worth it to get Rivers? I don't know..

You make that deal without flinching. Sanchez isn't a fraction of the QB talent wise that Rivers is.
