O/D Maynard/Klecko Sanchez--> Reasoning....In spite of playcalling managed to pull out some games without which we would not be playoff bound. With decent playcalling has been at 65% over the last two week, and SHOULD have gotten us the W in Chicago. Had we had the play calling we've had in the last two weeks, We would have beaten Baltimore and GB. Harris....on D.
Revis held Greg Jennings, Calvin Johnson, Andre Johnson and Terrell Owens to a combined nine catches for 74 yards.
HAHA- How can someone have no offensive votes? Offense- Mark Sanchez for sure, the Ravens loss was not on him, Pats was a team loss, so you could put Miami and GB on Mark if you really wanted to. Other than that he's either been why we were winning or just being part of the win. Defense- David Harris, keeping his pace of 100 tackles per year and has 3 sacks. Special Teams- Brad Smith
Greg Jennings had 6 catches for 81 yards. Andre Johnson had 4 catches for 42 yards Calvin Johnson had 1 catch for 13 yards TO had 3 for 17 yards.
You can't count catches/yards on plays where Revis wasn't covering them. He's not actually Christ you know.
Jennings had more more than you are letting on, where are you pulling your stats from? Despite that the Packers that just put up 45 on the Giants didn't even score a TD on us.Just pointing that out for those Jet fans that think the sky is falling on the defensive side.
Offense: Braylon Edwards He was great early in the season and then it was his catch that set up the win against Houston and he had his best game against the Steelers that helped get us probably our biggest win of the year. Defense: Sione Pouha Once again stepped up and played well with the loss of Jenkins Special Teams: Brad Smith Was going to go Weatherford here but I just feel that that kick return to open the game against the steelers probably saved our season.
I don't know how anyone can watch this Jets Defense and not think Revis is still the best player on that field. I feel that without Revis, this team would not be in the playoffs, and I just can't say the same about guys like David Harris & Sione Pouha.
Agreed. People have gotten spoiled by Revis' outstanding play--every single mistake that he makes gets highlighted, and people don't really notice his unbelievable consistency because they expect it from him. The only reason that I wouldn't call him the defensive MVP is because he's missed time. Offensive MVP: D'Brickashaw Ferguson Defensive MVP: David Harris
Chicago can burn our secondary for four passing TDs with or without Revis. Without Pouha teams could run on us all day long.
