I actually agree that you, in fact, older than anyone else here. The line that you're continuously using however is idiotic. Yes, Jets have not won SB IN 45 years. That does NOT mean that that every single move they are making now is wrong. That does NOT mean that FO has to be disassembled for inaptitude. That does NOT mean that every single player traded for or drafted is a bust. In fact, following your arguments will ensure that Jets will never again win SB. The problem with your fact is that it does nothing to make Jets win SB. All it shows is that you're a bitter old man who just bitches without offering any solutions.
The main thing is that when you point at somebody emphatically by trading up, when you say "that guy is going to be great!", you have a responsibility to be more than randomly right in that determination. The Jets have gotten it right once in more than a decade of trade ups, that being Revis. That's a pitiful record given the number of times they felt strongly enough about somebody to give up real value to move up and snag them.
I think the only reason this dumb debate is happening is because of one thing Frustration! We are all Jet fans who care and some will vent when others are feeling the love.. Back to the original topic! Let's just hope Amaro is the next Tony G!
