We all would of much rather play in NY...But this will do. We're no longer "tennants" when this stadium is built...So some positives come out of this.

The key word is retractable. This means open during games, but can be closed for other events making the stadium more versitile. Also allowing for a superbowl. The Jets had evey intension of playing with the roof open for games if they went through with it. Problem was a roof benefits the state no tthe teams, yet the state wanted us to pay. If the state was paying for the roof there would be one.

Woody was willing to foot the majority of a $2+ Billion stadium but he is now too cheap to pay part of the costs for a roof. We will never see a SB!

    I wanted a roof!

I would support the roof, but I would want it open during the games. I think the roof is good for holding other events like the final four, concerts and the superbowl.
