Durbin has a 1-2-3 bottom of the 8th.

Pretty ridiculous that three of four series were sweeps.

Pretty good game in Colorado. A base hit could tie the game. Extra base hit could win it...

2 outs of course. Runners on 1st and 2nd....

Game over. Lidge actually gets the save, although it wasn't easy.

I don't care who wins this series but I want the Rockies to win tonight so they all have to fly back to Philly, then the winner has to fly back out to LA.

Haha, mind reader. It only makes sense, right? Not even so much for one more game but two trips across the country.

yep. It's always better to face a team on shorter rest, especially when you're dealing with a different coast.

Blown call in the top of the first.

    Phillies 1st
    Ubaldo Jimenez pitching:
Jimmy Rollins: Ball, Strike looking, Foul, Foul, Ball, Ball, Rollins flied out to center.
Shane Victorino: Ball, Foul, Foul, Ball, Ball, Foul, Foul, Victorino homered to right.
Chase Utley: Ball, Ball, Ball, Strike looking, Strike swinging, Utley walked.
Ryan Howard: Strike looking, Ball, Strike looking, Pickoff attempt, Howard grounded into fielder's choice to second, Utley out at second.
Jayson Werth: Strike looking, Ball, Ball, Ball, Werth flied out to right.
End of Inning (1 Run, 1 Hit, 0 Errors)

Howard was out at first. The bad umpire evidently thought Helton was off the bag, but he wasn't. He had to stretch for the throw, but he clearly stayed on the bag.

It ended up only costing Jimenez five pitches, though, and of course the effect on the lineup.

Lucky for baseball that Werth got out.

These umpires suck. You just have to hope the blown calls roughly even themselves out.

back to back singles to start it off against Lee!

    Gonzalez and Fowler.

I don't think Lee had ever pitched in Coors Field before. Definitely not the past three seasons.

Helton grounds back to Lee, who bobbles and then went to second for the force.

It was a bit late, but Fowler's leg ended up hitting Rollins's glove, which was blocking the base.

Interesting call. Basically Fowler's foot may have not touched the base.

Rockies had 2nd and 3rd, after Helton took 2nd on a ball in the dirt, but Tulowitzki strikes out and Atkins grounds out to short to end the threat.

Victorino goes first to third on an Utley single. Great throw by Gonzalez and a very close play. Could've gone either way, but they called him safe.

utley took second on the throw and now an intentional walk to Howard.

    Bases loaded, 1 out

3-2 pitch to Ibanez down, and Ibanez is unable to check his swing.

Back to back Ks with the bases loaded.

Barmes continues to be cold. 0/12 in the playoffs.

That left Colorado with a runner on first and 2 out for Ubaldo Jimenez, who responded with a line drive single to right/right-center.

1st and 2nd, 2 outs, for Carlos Gonzalez. Still down 1-0

Medium depth flyout to right. That ends another threat. A lot of baserunners, but only 1 run scored.

8 hits and three walks combined.

Helton walks and a huge double by Tulowitzki.

Close play at the plate, but Ruiz's tag was a hair late.

2-1 Phillies. Runner on second, 1 out.

Bad baserunning blunder by Tulo on a line drive to third. He broke towards third instead of freezing, and it was an easy double play.

    Rollins doubles off him.

He'll stay in to face Victorino
