Unless, of course, you think that Trachsel should have stayed in to throw 200 pitches and give up 30 runs (which is a defensible position, by the way).

Oh come on. If you're going to play devil's advocate, at least try harder! When Suppan hit the HR he was the 7th hitter of the first 9 to reach base. Trachsel was grossly incompetent from his first pitch on, and should have never been in the position to walk the bases loaded after the home run.
