They're laughing at Trachsel, which not so coincidentally is exactly what I'm doing. Maybe I've just disassociated myself, but this is hilarious.

If you think that the Mets will "definitely win one at least," you're not paying attention. I said that I thought they would, but it's not even close to definite. Take a look at the postseason winning streaks already: Tigers 7, Mets 4, A's 3. The Cards reeling off 4 in a row when they're seemingly already halfway there would be anything but shocking, considering who pitches tomorrow, and that Glavine is going on 3 days rest.

 

If Traschel or any Mets pitcher hit a HR, I would've done the same thing. Relax pal.

I came here to watch the game. I don't think any Yankees fans are rooting for the Mets. I mean, I'm definitely rooting for the Cardinals because I can't give the Mets fans the satisfaction of going to or winning the World Series. Besides, the Mets losing in the NL would be as much of a failure as the Yankees losing in the AL because at least the Yankees lost to a good team.

That was an absolute meltdown by Trachsel. Darren Oliver time.

no i did... i just thought it was funny when they yankees sucked for the same reasons he thought it was funny when a pitcher hit a home run off of steve trachsel. that doesnt make me an idiot, that makes me a fan who let my emotions get the best of me.

 

Dude it is the 2nd inning of Game 3 of a series that is tied 1-1.

I have to admit, that's pretty funny. Trachsel was visibly rattled out there, and they get to use the injury excuse. Willie's first smart move this series.

 

If this series goes 7(which I don't think it will) there is absolutely no way that you can start Trachsel. Let Oliver pitcher today then prep him for starting Game 7.

 

That might be one of the worst big game starts I have ever seen.
