Thats gonna be a rough game for you guys. I watched Carpenter pitch a few times this year and he was excellent.

Mets get game 1 with Glavine throwing fewer than 90 pitches and Heilman not pitching. Can't ask for anything more than that.

Thanks man, it's nice to see not all Yankee fans are classless bandwagon jumpers. Here's some advice to the 1996ers, the Mets don't want you to root for them.

As much as people say stuff, generally, I have no problem with the Mets. They don't have any effect on the Yankees play, nor should they, they are in different leagues. Out of the 4 teams left, I'd like to see the Mets win. I'm backing em'.

Clinic by the Mets in all facets of the game.

    Great Pitching-Check
    Excellent Defense-Check
    Timely Hitting-Check

    That is a championship team.

    7 more wins.

good game. Some VERY nice defensive plays really helped us out. Team effort. Some of the guys didn't bring their bats, though.

By the way, all the shots they kept giving us of some of the freaks in the stands were ANNOYING. Great, so some homo dresses up like a ^$@$%#. I'm not interested.

Unless something completely bizarre happens, Glavine will get at least one more start this postseason. It will be the 35th of his career, breaking his tie with Andy Pettitte for the most in major league history.

Hopefully that helps us. Carpenter-Beltran should be interested. A guy who struggles on the road against a guy who struggles at home.

It wasn't personally directed at you but if you are one of these losers that started rooting for the Yankees when they made the WS in 1996 than yes I guess it was directed at you. But I think you're like junc and somebody that has been a Yankee fan their whole life, as awful as that is.

Rich...I like you..You have to see the Avatar is just a little ribbing. I have been a Yankees fan since '79....I remember getting grounded after the Yankees-Dodgers WS because I yelled "This Fucking Sucks!!!!" after the Yankees lost...

    Good luck Mets...
