    NFL.com. Completions 20+. 43 of them.

I didn't see the ESPN stat about balls thrown 21+ yards but it's not very good. I agree about the 1 yard pass for 20+
yards, it inflates the yardage numbers. That's how he accumulated a gazillion yards at WVU. He had a bunch of 1 foot shovel passes to Austin- basically handoffs- that Austin took for massive gains but Geno got credit for yardage. He's got a great arm but I'm not sure we've seen it yet. Or that he's a better downfield thrower than Vick just yet.

Yeah just looked at it. Geno had 23 that were for over 21 yards. Brees had 27, Manning 32, haven't looked at rest so it's a nice number for a rookie with little talent around him but he wasn't tops in the league. Not sure what a Danett is, I'm kind of bored by Dan Patricks act.

Good points. Don't disagree with you. That's why I said in a superior draft year for QB, like when A. Luck came out. But in the bigger picture you are correct. Its a crap shoot 9 out of 10 drafts. That's why we are much better off if Geno does develop into THE guy, but its good to have Vick as a legitimate contender for once while he does. If it doesn't I hope we always keep our eyes open for QB talent in every draft. You never know.

What do you mean about the ESPN stat being not very good? The stat itself seems more accurate than the NFL stat.

My error, I left out a comma. That ESPN statistic is good, HIS stats weren't. :D

Nah I don't know where they get their stats. And I'm not sure who's down field passing Geno was being compared too, but it sound pretty good. Dan Patrick cut the guy off pretty quick.

wow - this thing assumes vick is the starter and also assumes decker is the jets jordy nelson.....not sure about that. and when did l. coles have glory days. i mean he was a good tough receiver but i wouldn't call them glory days.

an odd read and way too early to say anything about an improved offense.

    Decker >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Holmes

That's why the offense is improved.

No actually all of your posts are the same and that is what he meant. Repeating the same two posts thousands of times doesn't become truth unless you are talking about death and taxes

You really are a boring poster
