I end up watching all my games at a sports bar every week anyway. All my friends root for different teams, so we don't have many options if we all want to hang out and watch football together.
DTV responded that day and corrected the issue. Consumer Affairs published the letter on there website. The BBB told me they wouldn't deal with the issue because of my location. I never heard back from the NFL or the attorney general. I'm still bitter about that whole thing. It was completely ridiculous.
I understand a few of you guys have had issues with Direct TV but I have had nothing but great dealings with them... When I lost my job last summer I had to call to cancel Sunday Ticket because I couldn't afford it. They cut my bill by 20 dollars a month to help me out. They still haven't added it back and won't until September. They didn't cut back on any of the channels I recieve as I have the top package. They also didn't charge me for the sports package for 3 months. I love the fact that all the Jets games will be on NFLN... Tivo and watch at a convienent time. I'll take NFLN and their guys over the agenda garbage that Stuart Scott and those frauds at ESPN are doing.... I can only handle so much Peyton Manning ballwashing.
from my bro in Vegas: just called Direct TV to drop the NFL Sunday Ticket because it has gotten WAY too expensive ($270/year) and they cut $120 off the price...nice!
Totally agree. My cable carries the MLB, and NHL tickets but we can't get the NFL ticket. There is something seriously wrong with that.
