I believe they have to have at least one negative test after diagnosis. Before it was 2 negative tests in 24 hours, which was problematic because some players got a negative and then a positive.

I didn't take Silvers comments yesterday as just pretend it isn't happening. It's something we have to live with at this point and probably will be for years to come bc I don't see this just going away. The world can't shut down every time cases surge. All 3 leagues are also 95%+ vaccinated FWIW.
It is pretty funny though how when cases surge the NFL suddenly removes their virtue signaling hats when games are in jeopardy and ease restrictions.

The NFL just needs to take notes and take even just a week pause. It’d actually work out perfectly to do so this weekend with the holidays. But they won’t because they know we’ll watch regardless as @FJF said in the other thread.
Nah, Covid situation will be even worse in a week. Especially if they let the players have a week off to travel the country to see their families the NHL is gonna return even more f'ed up than before and wondering what the week off even accomplished
