im tired of these annoying jets fans complaining about everything.

    Gholston fills a need.

Yes Mcfadden is a playmaker but i believe with our new OL and with our 3 RB's were going to be solid

NOW we need a WR......... Malcolm Kelly, Sing it with me

allan, people leak shit from war rooms all of the team. it's not about being stupid or transparent. THe board isn't kept in a safe that only Tannenbaum and Mangini can open and they aren't sworn to secrecy by Woody Johnson or else they'll have a contract put on their life.

Jet officials see the board. They have contacts with newspaper people, or other media people. Some of them use media people to spread disinformation, others provide the real analysis in return for anonymity

McFadden would have been the best pick but Gholston was the smart pick considering what the board looked like at 6. A trade up would be too expensive and now we can still use the 2nd pick on a big wideout. Gholston is a great fit for this team, a true 3-4 player and he can rotate in and out with Thomas and Pace since we now have great depth at OLB. Even if the concerns about his motor are true we don't need him to be an every down player and as long as he comes to play in passing situations we are looking at a guy who could very well be at least a 10 sack/yr player for years to come.

sure would have been nice to get all those picks. lets see whats left at 26 to choose from. another second would have put that over the top for me, make one of those 3s a 2 and i would be fired up right now.

    26 is pretty low though.

i cant say im disappointed that we got gholston i just dont know about him i dont get the feeling he will be great, heres to rooting for him and hoping though!!!!!

    ps kiper is a douche

Jet fans are unbelievable. "We should have traded up for McFadden" "We should have traded down"

The Jets got a talented athletic player at the position of greatest need. Jet fans should be thrilled.

Maybe Jacksonville was not interested in trading up to 6 because they knew they would have to give up more picks and pay more to a guy they knew they could get at 8?

I think they just showed the bengals at a delayed feed and at the time in the clip they hadn't seen their pick yet.

Jags just PROVED Gholston was the right way to go. We need to be able to get AT Brady consistently. Jags need to get to Peyton, so they reached.

I dontknow about Wheatly, but if the Jets get Hardy and Langford I'd be a happy Jets fan.

Love the LB tandem we got now. I like the boos for the pats at radio city. I like the fact that the bengals draft party looked like a funeral.

Get a nice big solid possession receiver next.

This is the guy New England wanted once Gholston was taken. They made a smart trade and still got their guy.
