This team has expressed heavily how we need to build through the draft. I expect some kind of trade to develop in the next couple rounds so that we can fill some more of our needs.

Woah.. Where did the draft go?

Man, we traded up twice today. They must like who they currently have on the roster, that's for sure.

You really can't trade players for picks during the draft, it just doesn't work. The contract needs to be looked at, the effects on the salary cap have to be analyzed. It's not something you can do spur of the moment. And no one is giving up any decent picks for any of our players.

I don't mind quality over quantity. 3rd round picks and day 2 picks usually end up as situational or gadget players anyways (which we have plenty of).

I'm stoked. We got a starting corner and linebacker for the future. Would have liked to get a DLineman, but this draft had few good linemen.

I think we'll try to get into the 3rd or 4th round by trading players... we'll see. I'm not too concerned since RB was already addressed with T. Jones, we got our dream corner and the perfect 3-4 ILB... we're fine everywhere else so this is a good deal. Again, if we can get one more pick, in either hte 3rd or 4th round... It'll be a solid draft.

So what is so great about this harris guy? Is he a good pass rusher? Run stuffer? And who does he replace?

Run stuffer, sure tackler, very smart, best tackler at the LB position in the entire draft, and he has good wheels

I love both Harris and Revis, but would love to have more picks. Maybe we can dump a few players for picks which is tough to do. And I trust Tanginni, if this is what they think is best for the team i'm with them. wish we could have addressed the OL

Harris was co-MVP with Michael Hart for Michigan. Great size and speed.

I would say he replaces, Barton. Sadly.. He is a perfect ILB for our 3-4. I guess they could always try to move Vilma over?
