Considering that both Dungy and Cowher won a Super Bowl in the decade, there's only one thing it could come down to here. Regular season records, Dungy vs Cowher: 104-40 vs 72-39-1 I don't think it's anything more than that. One of the knocks on Dungy is that Jon Gruden won the Super Bowl for the Bucs the year after Dungy was let go. Well, look at what Cowher's successor did- playoffs in first year and Super Bowl in second year. I don't think Cowher and Dungy are all that different.
