I don't question your football knowledge, ftr. You would think the OP subject matter would qualify as legitimate, but then some would seem to have a definition of that that includes non-football stuff. And don't worry about winston. I can't predict when he will choose to back up some message board ally. Most of his posts are about football. Others here? Not so much.
Another thing is while I would bet that Brady goes back to being the starter, given the existence of even some doubt that he will be ready, that is not actually a given.
why does the offseason make everyone bored and less intelligent.. i'm not targeting anyone specific, but the post quality goes down and its amazing to see the IQ drain once January hits.
Boredom. Frustration perhaps. This board needs a little more bong rips and it'll feel better. Amazingly some posters might be smarter too.
Why should he worry about me? I'm not a moderator and I don't have allies or enemies. Just because I enjoy seeing Abyz piss on you doesn't make him an ally any more than it makes you an enemy.
Yeah, but you have to acknowledge the flip side of NE not suffering so much with Cassell in there, once he hit stride, is that bringing back Brady will not be much upside, either. Don't you agree?
Ftr I am equally intelligent. At least I think so. But don't you feel that Brady is not NE's only problem?
Man, I thought your weirdness ended at boffing stuffed animals. Why would bringing Brady back have no upside? Do you think a knee injury is going to suck all of the football talent from his being? Cassel held his own because he had two of the biggest crutches in the league for an inexperienced QB in Moss and Welker. Cassel is a product of a system that was near-unstoppable with Brady under center. Cassel is a different player with different attributes, but he has a long way to go before he can even stand in Brady's shadow.
Reading comprehension a problem today, too? Where did I say it had no upside? I said Cassell had a pretty good year. Brady coming back would not be like, say, replacing Bender with Faneca. Upside? Yes. A great deal? Maybe not. Some NE fans are talking about preferring Cassell, I assume given Brady's injury reports.
