A Marino situation would be better, lol.

My prediction is: ultimately KC will beat out Sanchez and have a great first year and when schottenheimer (probly misspelled that) leaves for a headcoaching job he takes KC with him and we will have Sanchez to kick ass with for many many years to come

KC will have a big year. Big enough to franchise him and get atleast a 2nd rounder in return. We will have a Breese Rivers situation in 2010 where we'll tag KC and ship him out since Sanchez aint goin anywhere with contract we'll be giving him.

that would be best case. we could franchise KC and probably get a second rounder for him. i hope we see a 20 TD maybe 10 INT performance from KC if he starts.

of course having Sanchez coming out of the gate on fire isn't a bad thing either...

So Sanchez is Chad but with a stronger arm, better feet, better looks (pause) and a little more swag?

    I'll take that.

But I'll also take a 20/10 season from KC too.

I understand the people who are saying wait-and-see; but I don't think that's the point of this article, nor is it about what he's physically doing. The crux of it, to me, is his mindset, his dedication to wanting to learn and get better. He's getting a lot shit for his GQ spread and media attention, but so far it doesn't seem to have affected his football mentality.

not if he doesnt have the things chad was best known for. great decision making and putting the ball exactly where he wanted it every time.

as a matter of fact those things you mentioned really dont mean shit if he doesnt have the 2 that chad had.

its REALLY time to move on. chad wasn't that great, if he was we would have won a superbowl with him at qb.
