Maybe tomorrow Girardi can reward Swisher by playing him in center and have him leadoff?

Is everything Girardi's fault. Who the fuck else is gonna play right field tonight. Since that 18 game streak without an error I think we have made one like 6 or 7 straight games

ummm we have no outfield and no bullpen...same problem for years. Same GM building the same team year after year

when a guy has a disasterous series like swisher did in Boston you tell him to sit the fuck down for a game. Mleky in right gardner in center himalaya boy in left.....not complicated.

I am sure Cashman will trade for a reliever that will end up being a total disaster

Yup. Cashman totally injured Bruney's and Nady's elbows and Marte's shoulder.

    ETA:
By the way, you might not have noticed, but Gardner is in CF. Damon is sitting because of some... weirdness.

I got a question. It may sound stupid, but...

Is/Was Posada calling a bad inning in the 3rd? Or was Joba really struggling that much? It was apparent Joba didn't wanna throw the pitch inside and when he did, it ended up walking the batter. If a pitcher isn't feeling comfortable hitting a certain side of the plate, why have him throw there with bases loaded and a full count?

Dude, please. Shall we go down the list of relievers that asshole has brought in here dude? Do you REALLY wanna go down that path. And Marte' I'm supposed to be excited about returning?

Both. They were definitely not on the same page. On the one hand, Joba's gotta learn to trust his stuff and what Posada is calling. On the other hand, it's Posada's job to know how to get on the same page as the pitcher (and he's been around long enough that he should know how to do that). My guess is that he was being a stubborn cranky bitch about it, not letting some "kid" show him up or whatever.

everyone in baseball makes mention of the yankees outfield being VERY suspect at best....and mind you, I dont remember Nady winning any gold gloves out in right either....Everyone in baseball also mentions the yankee bullpen......but its all because Bruney is hurt? Not buying it...by the way, Bruneys actual successful part of his career? small sample size. Im not just being an asshole with that comment

if Bruney can get healthy, which is a big if, our pen can be good. Aceves, bad job last night, has been very good. Coke has had some issues, but has been solid. Hughes can be a very valuable arm in the pen, assuming Wang gets his shit together, another big if.

Ah. Thanks for the info Cappy. I thought that's what was going on.

jonnyd, I got a question for you. Is there any Yankee on the current roster you like? Besides C.C. (I guess I shouldn't assume you like C.C. first) and Molina?

Teixeira braaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. I also like that Mariano Rivera kid. I enjoy aceves' trips to the mound. I even find myself rooting for that Gardner fella, even though I know deep inside that he sucks monkey pussy

Haha. Gotcha. Everytime I read your posts you're always suggesting we get rid of this guy and that guy. It was just hard to follow which guys held a special place in your heart next to Koz.
