So, his previous 2 starts while pitching a shutout El Duque was removed with just under 100 pitches thrown. Today after pitching poorly his spot comes up in a tie game with a runner on 2nd and he's at just under 100 pitches. So obviously Willie lets him hit for himself and go back out there for the 6th. Boggle.

 

And now the Mets pay the consequences for this decision. Damnit.
