Over at MLB.com 10 GMs picked a Mets-Red Sox World Series.

Seriously, could the season start already?

sorry davecrazy, your link doesnt work.

and there is no law against me posting in a mets thread as long as it is constructive, as opposed to trolling yankee threads.

Ok how about we end the pissing contest...... I don't know what went on the Yankee ST thread because I haven't been in there. Can we save the fighting until after the season starts?

For those on the West Coast here is the Mets schedule this season for games on the West Coast

    May 2-4 @ Arizona
    May 5- 7 @ Dodgers
    June 2-4 @ Giants
    June 5-8 @ Padres
    June 16-18 @ Angels
    June 20-22 @ Rockies

I'll likely go to San Diego and Anaheim, Unfortunately I'll be in Asia for the Dbacks and Dodgers series :(

Freddy Garcia is in Port St Lucie, it wouldn't be a bad move if it was an incentive laden deal.

I'd like the idea of him as the #5 guy and both Duque and Pelfrey to the pen. Talk about a guy who never lived up to his potential but if he is healthy I'm positive Peterson can do wonders with him the same way he did with Maine and Perez......

I agree though incentive is the way to go with him as he is way to injury prone

For the record, I've been a Mets fan since their inception, and my dad took me to the Polo Grounds for my first Met game- a doubleheader vs the Phils.

I dont hate the Yanks, well, not until the 2000 WS, and the true turning point was when Roger Roid threw the bat at Piazza.

I still dont really hate them, but if push comes to shove, I got the backs of my boys from Flushing.

Is this really, REALLY the last season at SHea? So many memories, going back to being at the 69 WS, all the Jets games, the AFL Champ game vs the raiduhs...it will be sad to see it go.

Eh, that's what some people said about the orange Bowl, too, and they are going to tear that down soon, too.

Some people have no sense of history and tradition.
