Yeah what are the UDFA's making? $350,000 ? for a half mil increase dearth is very very worth it. However, I think the money is not the reason they are trying to stumble across another quality talent as a Long Snapper. They want to find a LS with the ability to play another position as well, in order to save a roster spot. That said, I don't think Dearth is in any trouble of losing his job.
team is full of guys that only do one thing...punter, kicker, snapper, holder, and a few gous who dont do anything, VG, BT we could pay the salary of over 100 long snappers with the money we pay VG to keep the pine warm if you try to make sense out of the pay structure you will go nuts
