I seriously doubt he'd come here, but replacing Saleh with Pete Carroll would turn this franchise around.

If we miss out on even the chance of bringing In Jim Harbaugh or a Pete Carrol because we stuck It out with these sad group of coaches. Then watch them go on to make whatever team they become the HC for great... I might have to stop watching football In general. Any other HC or GM would be fired after the results JD and Saleh have shown. Now we are preaching continuity? With ZERO results so far? It makes no fucking sense to me.
So, in the year span of 2023 & 2024 this team will have.... Had the worst offense in recorded memory, or at the very least VERY close to it Kept an offensive staff that was the architect of item #1 Decided to stay put after DECADES of firing coaches after 3 seasons of shit...and finally... Decide to CONTINUE to hang with this coaching staff while the best group of coaches, in a long while, have come available all at once!!!!! They should be in on EVERY single coach that is on the market!!!! Don't matter whether we have bad history or not! Pete, Bill, Mike...ALL of them should have received a call from Woody before days end!!!!!!!!
Why work harder for something that can be done more easily anywhere else for essentially the same money?
They aren't looking for a challenge, they are looking to pad their career stats. They aren't looking to be rebuilding in their 70s.
That’s why the Belichick to the Commanders thing didn’t make much sense. They have 5 top 100 picks and a boat load of cap space but very little talent other than two aging defensive tackles and two good receivers.
If that's a serious question I believe you're underestimating the mindset of successful coaches. Not hard to do if you've been a student of the NY Jets for a few decades.
If the Jets were smart (which they're not) they would take the private Jet out to Seattle and offer Pete Carroll the HC job asap. He is a proven great coach and still has a ton of energy in the tank. I am telling you he would turn this program around in 2 years. He wants to be a HC again, it's clear as day. I wish the Jets had balls and foresight. Oh well
In order for Carroll to take the job, Woody would have to fire Douglas, let Carroll pick the GM, and tell Rodgers to deal with it. That would be great in so many ways, but of course Woody would never do it.
